MUSIC

Just a few things can influence a wedding as significantly as music. If the music is chosen correctly, it will bring the right energy to the celebration, highlight the romance and get your guests on the dance floor. Music will guide you throughout the wedding day - pay attention to it.

The music you choose will set the whole wedding tone. It is important to remember what emotions you are going to make at what stage of the wedding and how to choose the music according to your wedding. You mostly choose music for the ceremony, cocktail, reception and party. It is also necessary to take into consideration the place. Music has to fit into the place and situation, but mainly to your taste.

MUSIC CHOICE - think about

  • Wedding ceremony - pleasant background music for guest arrival, waiting for the ceremony, songs for parents, groom and bride walking down the aisle, congratulations from guest after ceremony. It's great when the songs you choose have a story to tell, you relate to them, or they are connected to your relationship.
  • Cocktail and wedding reception - the food and drinks may be great, but to create a pleasant atmosphere, you will need music. This is background music with the right volume so that people are not in silence, but can talk undisturbed and enjoy refreshments, wedding lunch or dinner.
  • Party - ideal is a dj or a band - songs for first dance of bride and groom, groom with mother and bride with father, guest party. Prepare a list of songs you definitely want to play and those you don't want at your wedding.

WHO CAN PLAY at your wedding:

classic duo, trio, quartet, saxophonist, violinist, pianist, harpist, guitarist, flutist, singer, live band, dj etc.

DIY - do it yourself… if you are short of money in your budget, it is possible

  • consider what you will need and who will take care of the music
  • you can select music on Spotify, Google play, Youtube etc.
  • you will need technical equipment - a source from which to play (unused phone, pc, tablet, sound boxes, connection and extension cables,...)
  • if you do not own any equipment, you can borrow it
  • ask the wedding venue what equipment they have available and check where you can set up the music
  • the most important is the person who will take care of the music
