What is a SYMBOLIC CEREMONY?
is the promise of love between two people. Is it the exact same as a regular wedding ceremony, including the exchange vows and rings. The only different is that it is not a legally binding.
You can opt to get legally married in your home country and have symbolic ceremony in the Czech Republic. If you prefer, your wedding guests do not even need to know this is a symbolic ceremony.

What is a LEGAL CEREMONY?
Your wedding will be legally valid in the Czech Republic and worldwide, you will receive a valid marriage certificate issued by Czech authorities, with legal varification and translation to your language, that you will later present at your home offices.
For a legal wedding in Czechia, many legal documents are requested several weeks before your wedding from you. Also you might be requied by register office to arrive to Czechia months in advance.
ADVANTAGES

DISADVATAGES
- legal documents you need to obtain for Czechia need to have higher varification, the process can be time-demanding and costs money
- usually you need to arrive a month before the wedding (Monday or Wednesday) to present your passports at register office
- in your pre-wedding week usually you need to arrive 2-4 days in advance
- choice of ceremony venues and ceremony dates / times are limited
